Delft tile from the 1700’s — including two elaborate Italianate landscape scenes — we chose to leave in the cracks and slight imperfections from the original ceramic in our final print. Just as there is so much beauty in the patina, there is so much to embrace about the challenges we’ve overcome that make us who we are! The two patterns found in the trim come from an 1867 British book on classical ornamentation, and an earthenware plaque from the Netherlands painted in 1780. The ginger jar on the sleeve is a 1700’s French watercolor painting.
100% viscose (derived from plant fibers such as wood and bamboo). Machine wash gentle or hand wash and hang to dry. Iron to finish if needed.
Kimono measurements: length 24", width 29" (across back, underarm to underarm).
Elegant, timeless, and painterly — this charming piece is guaranteed to add some romance to any outfit! For a breezy, effortless look, pair it with linen trousers and a soft cotton tank, and finish with comfy espadrilles and a cross-body bag for a coastal, vacation-ready vibe. If you’re in the mood for some drama and flair, drape it over a fitted bodysuit and high-wasted skirt, and add stacked beaded jewelry and platform sandals for a bohemian twist. For an easy, everyday vibe, pair it your favorite jeans (cuffed for a relaxed touch), a crop tank, and canvas sneakers — perfect for strolling through a seaside town or sipping lemonade on a lazy afternoon :)
